Yesterday it was announced on Google Plus that communities received their own photo section.
This is a great feature to add to Google Plus Communities. Some communities mostly consist of images. Will the moderators rearrange them? Nope. The feature is not necessarily a new category where people can upload photos, it is a new tab that all communities receive automatically. If you click on the new photos tab, you will see a collage of all of the latest photos.And yes, animated GIFs play automatically.
